On the weekend i received a negative tweet from a fellow youtube and “global empire” heiress stating that “clean beauty is easy when you’re 18 but when you get older you need more”.
This inspired this tutorial. I wanted to show you that clean beauty, flawless fresh skin can be done on any age. And skin type.
For this tutorial i used only a single foundation and cream blush. The skin looks glowing and youthful and still looks like skin. So, what is clean beauty?
Its just about gorgeous skin. Thats its. You can still have the SMOKEY EYES or STRONG LIPS – OR BOTH! Its just about the skin first. About creating the perfect base without having to etch, crave or chisel the face with the products. Its about skin. Covering what needs to be covered and then working however you want on the eyes lips an cheeks. Clean beauty is still about contour – but its the absence of lines. Its about blending. Laura Mericer really made Clean Beauty famous by creating her “flawless face” method. The rest is just the icing on the cake.
Thumbs up for Mandy. She is lovely and really (in my opinion) looks her most beautiful when her skin is glowing. And i loved having her back for a tutorial.
