Rather simple genetic explanation. People seek out to have offspring with the most "normal" person they can find. That is why moderate features (not too big, not too small, proportional) are the most attractive. Light brown skin is the middle color between white and black, so whites tan to move closer and blacks bleach to do the same.

Many many are happy with there skin and not bleaching. This is fake and perpetuating the idea that black and dark skin people don't like themselves (because they are less then)…when MANY recognize that melanin is more expensive then gold.

When you learn how and choose to appreciate, value, and love yourself for who you are (skin color included), you don’t care what others think of you or your skin color. Black and Brown are Beautiful. I pray that God will bless those who are skin beaching with God- Esteem so their self-esteem will skyrocket. God has created each of us as a masterpiece in His image.

In the meantime melanin is literally being sold because of its properties. Beautiful people know that u are under attack. The industry is seeking new consumers outside of America. They are selling you products that we stopped using years ago because of the toxicity. Since we are getting smarter they are looking for new victims. And as usual target the youth.
